The Chicago Bears got a career day out of quarterback Mitchell Trubisky as he led them to a 48-10 win on Sunday afternoon.
Trubisky threw a career-high six touchdowns for the Bears, the most a Bears quarterback has thrown in a single game in nearly 70 years.
In all, Trubisky had 407 total yards of offense, including a team-high 53 yards on the ground. Tarik Cohen chipped in with 174 yards of offense, including 121 in receiving yards, and scored a touchdown in the victory.
Trubisky hit five different Bears receivers for touchdown passes, including two from Taylor Gabriel, in the victory.
The Bears got off to a quick start in the game, scoring just over two and a half minutes into the contest on a long throw from Trubisky to tight end Trey Burton to put Chicago ahead 7-0.
Later in the quarter, Trubisky hit Allen Robinson III for his first touchdown catch as a member of the Bears, extending Chicago's lead to 14-0 after 15 minutes of play.
In the second quarter, the Bears exploded for 24 points, including three more touchdown passes from Trubisky. Joshua Bellamy and Cohen each had touchdown catches, and Gabriel took a shovel pass into the end zone for another score to make it a 35-3 game.

That pass gave Trubisky a Bears record for touchdown passes in a half, as he sent five of his teammates to the end zone.
The good times continued to roll in the second half, as Gabriel caught another touchdown pass and Cody Parkey drilled a 46-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter to seal the game.
The Bears will now have a bye week to savor their victory, and will next take the field in Week 6 when they head to Miami for a game against the Dolphins.
