Brewers Announce Presale to Keep Cubs Fans Out of Miller Park

The Brewers will kick off a Wisconsin-only presale on Thursday morning

The Milwaukee Brewers are adamant about trying to limit the number of Chicago Cubs fans that attend games at Miller Park, and they’re once again taking steps to do just that this season.

The Brewers have announced that they will have a special presale, limited to Wisconsin residents only, for the team’s home games against the Cubs this season.

In a social media post advertising the sale, the Brewers were blatantly honest about their motivations:

“Any claims that this presale is an attempt to prevent Cubs fans from getting Brewers tickets are…..well, pretty accurate, actually,” the team said.

The Cubs and Brewers finished in a tie for the National League Central crown last season, with the Brewers winning a one-game playoff to claim the title.

The presale begins at 9 a.m. tomorrow, and will include every home game against the Cubs, including the April 5 contest at the ballpark.
